WHAT'S YOUR STORY AND HOW DID YOU GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?
I grew up in a church community until I was 17, where music played a huge role. My sister introduced me to indie and gospel music, broadening my music tastes. Leaving the church opened up new opportunities for me. I started modeling and creating music, driven by a desire to express myself creatively and overcome challenges. Today, I combine my passions for music and modeling, embracing my journey from church traditions to a world of creative possibilities. It's a journey about being true to myself, exploring new things, and finding inspiration
through art.
HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE CREATIVE SPACE?
I got into modeling when I was 17. Starting out, I did my own photoshoots and shared them on Instagram. Since then, I've been lucky to work with big names like Nike, adidas, Psycho Bunny and more. It all began with me taking photos and posting them online. Gradually, my work caught the eye of major brands, and I started getting opportunities to model professionally.
ARE THERE ANY UPCOMING PROJECTS YOU'RE WORKING ON?
I'm currently working on a project called SWÅMP. It's a blend of soulful vocals with non-traditional beats, giving my music a pop feel without sticking to typical pop styles. My aim is to create a musical experience like a vivid dream, pushing boundaries and exploring new sounds. I'm excited to share this innovative journey with everyone soon!
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE FUTURE, WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS?
Looking ahead, I see myself making music and movies that capture the essence of South Florida. I'm excited to share my creative vision and connect with audiences through storytelling and music!
IF THERE'S ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO SOMEONE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
If I could give you one piece of advice, it would be this, use negativity as fuel. When things don't go well or people criticize you, don't let it bring you down. Instead, let it motivate you to do better. See challenges as chances to grow and improve. This mindset can help you turn setbacks into steps forward toward your goals.
