A Discussion with Pierre | 9-10-24

WHAT'S YOUR STORY AND HOW DID YOU GET TO WHERE YOU ARE NOW?

My story is quite interesting. I was born in Haiti and moved to the United States at a young age, growing up in a humble environment that taught me valuable life lessons. Arriving in a new country without speaking any English made things challenging, but I’m incredibly grateful for my parents’ support throughout that journey.

Living in South Florida has broadened my perspective in many ways. I’ve always had a passion for making people laugh, which led me to create my brand, Evener Entertainment. Initially focused on my YouTube channel, I’m now expanding into various media by learning how to produce and write both unscripted and scripted shows. It’s an exciting chapter in my life, and I can’t wait to see where it leads!

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE CREATIVE SPACE?

I entered the creative space at a young age, fueled by my love for design and all things artistic. I've always considered myself someone who thinks outside the box, often surprising myself with my creative ideas. As a child, I was deeply involved in designing and conceptual work.

In middle school, I discovered web design, which sparked my interest in editing. This passion carried into high school, where I honed my skills in tools like Photoshop, Lightroom, and Adobe Premiere. These skills have remained invaluable to me and continue to shape my creative journey today.

ARE THERE ANY UPCOMING PROJECTS YOU'RE WORKING ON?

I’m currently working on developing my own reality show that explores a concept we haven’t really seen on television before, especially in the unscripted genre. This project reflects the current climate and trends we’re experiencing today.

Recently, I submitted a comprehensive package—including a pitch deck, logline, and sizzle reel—to an incredible opportunity with NBCU. I believe there’s a saturation of similar programming on TV right now, and I’m eager to be a part of the change that brings fresh and innovative content to audiences.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE FUTURE, WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS?

In the future, I envision myself as a producer in television programming, music videos, movies, and more. I also see my media brand expanding significantly, growing far beyond its current reach. I'm excited about the possibilities that lie ahead and the impact I can make in the industry.

IF THERE'S ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO SOMEONE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

If I could offer one piece of advice today, it would be to believe in yourself. If you don’t have faith in your abilities, it’s unlikely that others will. Remember, your journey is in your hands, and even when you feel like giving up, that’s the moment to push through and keep going!
